The sopranos Charlotte Russell and Maria Ferrante have recorded several of Peisch's art songs that incorporate texts by Langston Hughes, Charles Simic, and Homer. Peisch effectively expresses the various moods and ideas of these poems. Suzanne Buell, one of Boston's top gospel singers, has recorded several of Peisch's songs in rock, pop, folk, and country styles, as well as two songs that can be characterized as “spiritual” and “inspirational.”
