Steve Peisch and Steve Arey collaborated in the late 70s and early 80s to create a band called the steves. The steves put out two 45-rpm records that featured five songs. Their music was described as synth-punk
, and the band continued over the years to draw interest on the internet. Recently, Iron Lung Records in Seattle re-issued 6 songs from that era on vinyl, along with 3 newer songs from the 90s that all are available from hundreds records and from Iron Lung Records.
