Peisch's eponymously-named rock band from the 80s,–the steves,–reflected his interest in the punk, metal, and minimalist music of that era. Vintage recordings were recently re-released by Iron Lung Records, and these recordings were dedicated to Steve Arey, a great drummer and the original steve. Included are three vinyl 45RPM records and six digital downloads from that period, featuring the song “Jerk!” that Steven Savage described as “the best punk song ever written.”
Peisch's recent band, blue box set, opened for Andy Pratt, Jim Weider, Beatlejuice, and The Fools and was recorded by Brian Charles at Zippah Studios in Boston. Peisch's piano music has been performed extenssively by David Pihl and recorded by Peter Kontrimas at PBS Studios. Peisch's art songs have been performed and recorded by Charlotte Russell and Maria Ferrante, and his songs in country, pop, and rock styles have been performed and recorded by Suzanne Buell and Sherée Dunwell.
Steve Peisch's extensive and diverse music catalog is available on HUNDREDS RECORDS in both web streaming and digital download formats.
